1938年出生於日本大阪的森山大道是當代日本攝影的代表人物，以獨特的搖晃、模糊、顆粒與高對比黑白攝影風格狩獵城市景象，曾為「挑釁」成員並創作至今。森山大道為Each Modern亞紀畫廊長期合作的藝術家，並在展覽「森山大道：Radiation」、「森山大道：Light Comes Again」中展出與藝術家合作的獨家燈箱作品。
Legendary Japanese photographer Moriyama Daido has won the 2019 Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography. He will now have a show at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg this Fall and have his new photobook published.
Born in Osaka, Japan in 1938, Moriyama Daido is one of the most renowned contemporary photography from Japan. He photographs cityscape through his unique style of swaying, blurry, grainy and high contrast black and white photography. He was also a member of activist group “Provoke”. In Each Modern’s exhibitions “Moriyama Daido: Radiation” and “Moriyama Daido: Light Comes Again”, exclusive lightboxs of Moriyama Daido were exhibited.
The Hasselblad Award, founded by the Hasselblad Foundation in 1980, is one of the most profound international award in photography with previous winners including Robert Frank, Cindy Sherman, William Eggleston, Nan Godin, Wolfgang Tillmans, etc.
